The daily new cases yesterday was 8559, up on the previous day, but still trending down from a high of 14,000. 

Deaths were up a bit at 414, but there will always be a lag between cases and deaths, of about 2 weeks. 

Unfortunately, it now seems that Gauteng has failed to report, claiming its recovery rate is high enough to be audited. 

Overall recoveries are at 70%. Amazing.
